We offer private lessons for electric, acoustic and bass guitar, mandolin, drums and percussion. Our instructors charge $15 per half hour. There are no signup fees or contracts to fill out. It is simply a "pay as you go" arrangement. We will assign you a time and day (on a weekly basis) and you pay the instructor directly with either cash or check. You can pay as you go or by the month. The instructors request a 24 hour notice (unless emergency/weather) to cancel a lesson otherwise the student is responsible for payment. GIFT CERTIFICATES are available for lessons. 	KERRY TUCKER, Guitar, Bass and Mandolin Instructor Kerry has earned Music Education degrees from both BLACHAWK  COLLEGE and ST AMBROSE UNIVERSITY, and has performed in various bands such as EINSTEIN'S SISTER, THE INFECTIOUS MR WANG and DOUGLAS & TUCKER to name a few. Kerry teaches various playing styles and theory. He offers lessons Wednesday through Friday.
	KYLE MARTIN, Guitar Instructor Kyle has taken many years of lessons from our veteran instructor Kerry Tucker and is passing on this knowledge and teaching style to his students. He teaches beginner to intermediate with emphasis on theory, notation, tablature, improvisation and song writing. Kyle plans on furthering his music education by enrolling in Blackhawk College this year, 2009. He also plays mandolin, piano and various brass instruments. Kyle specializes in the teaching of rock, jazz, blues, pop, punk, metal and experimental styles of play. He currently performs with his band NOM DE STYLE. Kyle offers lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday through Saturday.
	LOREN YEAGER, Guitar and Bass Instructor Loren has four years of education in music performance from Blackhawk and Augustana College and intends to further his education in this area. He teaches music fundamentals for beginner through advanced. Loren specializes in classical guitar and music history which enables him to educate in all playing techniques, everything from Bach to modern day compositions. He teaches modern musical styles such as rock, metal, country, punk, jazz and blues as preferred by each student. Feel free to bring in a CD with songs you would like to learn. Loren offers lessons Monday through Thursday and Saturdays.
	SEAN RYAN, Guitar Instructor Sean has completed four years of music theory and composition as well as specializing in classical guitar from Blackhawk and Augustana College. He has also earned a BA in music from Augustana. Sean performs in the local band THE DAWN. He teaches various styles of music and offers lessons Monday through Thursday.
	JOSEPH HODGETT, Drums & Percussion Instructor Joe has been playing drums for many years in various bands such as SPICOLI and THE BACKWATER BAYOU BAND to name just a few. He currently performs with THE DAWN. He has a degree from Blackhawk College where he studied jazz and performed with the BHC JAZZ COMBO. He toured South Korea for five months playing on US military bases for our troops. He teaches various styles including rock, blues, country, metal, jazz, drum n bass, jungle and funk. Joe offers lessons Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
	JEFF DICKERSON, Guitar Instructor Jeff has a BA degree from Augustana College and an MA from the University of Illinois. He was an assistant Professor at Marycrest College for 18 years and recently retired to devote more time to teaching music. He has played guitar for over forty years and has been teaching guitar lessons for the last eight years. Jeff teaches acoustic, electric, fingerstyle, 12 string and classical playing styles and offers lessons on Fridays and Saturdays.
